Russian Winter Poker Tournament 2007Time and location: From January 22 to January 28, 2007 Moscow, Olimpiysky Prospekt, 7, poker club "Asia". Scheme: Russian Winter Poker Tournament (RWPT) 2007 is a series of tournaments that runs from January 22 to January 28. Each individual tournament is independent of each other, with the exception of the first day - Super Satellite (qualifying game for the Main Event). The Main Event is the same tournament as all the others, the difference between it and other tournaments is the cost of participation in it. It is for this reason, because of its high cost, that qualifying games are arranged for it, where players can get into it by paying a smaller amount. During the RWPT, participants are invited to take part in two types of poker: Texas hold'em and Omaha. The rules of Texas hold'em are quite simple. Each player is dealt two cards - these cards are his only, and only he can use them to make a combination, then the dealer lays out five cards face up in front of him in a certain sequence, and these five cards are common to all players, i.e. To make a poker hand, the player has seven cards, and from these seven cards he makes the best five-card card hand. During each hand (game), there are several rounds of betting during which players deposit money into the pot, which at the end of the game is given to the winner (the player with the best poker hand at the end of the game). The first betting round is after two cards are dealt to all players, the second - after the dealer opens three community cards, the third - after the dealer opens a fourth community card, the fourth - after the dealer opens a fifth community card. In the Omaha game, unlike Texas hold'em, each player is dealt four of his own cards, but he can only use any two of these four to make a poker hand. During the RWPT, players pay a tournament entry fee and initially receive an equal number of tournament chips. The task of the players is to take a prize place, the number of which is determined by the structure of the tournament and the number of participants, i.e. The game is played until all opponents except one have lost all their tournament chips. The winners of individual gaming tables meet in the final game on the final table. (Final Table). The winner on the Final Table is considered the winner of the individual tournament. Rules :
The procedure for obtaining an entry voucher for each tournament must be completed every day. This voucher is stamped with the tournament day date and registration number. Registration of tournament participants is carried out on the first floor until 19:00. After the start of the tournament, registration is moved to the second floor of the club. The “Tournament Entry Voucher” is stamped with the tournament day date, registration number and two tear-off parts. This voucher is proof of payment of the entry fee for the tournament for that particular player and remains with him for the duration of the tournament. One of the two tear-off parts of the voucher is given by the player to the tournament management to obtain his playing place in the tournament. The second part gives the player the opportunity to take advantage of the club's buffet during the tournament.
