Sports poker is an affordable alternative to slot machines and roulette

On March 26, 2007, the head of the Federal Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Russian Federation V.A. Fetisov. An order was signed recognizing the game “sports poker” as a sport in Russia. This means that the organization and conduct of sports poker games is not subject to gambling legislation (no licensing, no table fees, etc.). Sports poker was put on a par with such games as chess, bridge, billiards, bowling, etc.

How to live for poker clubs in new conditions

Sports poker has its own special status. The Federation has done a great job of describing the rules of the game and the rules for holding tournaments. Regulations have been developed on the certification of poker clubs and on the structure of regional branches of the Federation. We are working closely with the Federal Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.

Compliance with new requirements

There is a necessary condition for the existence of a poker club - compliance with established norms and rules. The Federation has prepared relevant documents for distribution to Conference participants.
